Coconut shells as an important raw material are widely used for making charcoal in the world. Coconut shell charcoal is an important product obtained from coconut shell. The process of converting shells to charcoal includes removing all the moisture from the raw material in a limited supply of air. To obtain good quality charcoal fully dried, clean, mature shells should be used. Now several modern methods are in vogue for the production of charcoal.
